Homestead Foundation Grants

Grants for Christ-centered community building

Welcome. The Homestead Foundation supports nonprofit choirs, theater companies, and other performing groups whose music strengthens faith in Jesus Christ and whose productions create meaningful community among their volunteers.

What we look for

Grant Requirements

01

Faith

Restoration Doctrine

The production for which the organization seeks funds should be centered on music that teaches the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Programming should primarily increase faith in Jesus Christ.

02

Community

Volunteer Engagement

The organization will be required to provide a written statement to the Foundation outlining its plans to engage its musicians in building community. At the end of the production, the organization will offer written documentation on the positive impact that its community-building efforts had on volunteers.

03

Stewardship

Nonprofit Status

Organizations must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits to receive grant money. The Foundation will work with the group's leadership to determine the grant amount based on (a) the organization's pro forma budget for its upcoming production season, as well as (b) the organization's typical operating expenses.
